Each year NSW local governments are required to present audited financial statements to their council and community.
The financial statements set out the financial performance, financial position and cash flows of Council for the financial year ended 30 June 2022.
The format of the financial statements is standard across all NSW Councils and complies with both the accounting and reporting requirements of Australian Accounting Standards and requirements as set down by the Office of Local Government.
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with;
In accordance with Section 418 (3) of the Local Government Act 1993 (NSW), Yass Valley Council advises that the ordinary Council meeting to be held on 27/04/2023 will include the presentation of the Audited Financial Statements for the year ending 30/06/2022.
Yass Valley Councils Annual Financial Statements are on public exhibition for seven days from Monday, 3 April 2023.
