The UK government voiced strong support for the International Sustainability Standards Board Thursday, aiming to set up a body over the next couple months to check its ESG reporting rules for UK use.
In an update to its green finance strategy, the government said that it would set up the endorsement body—charged with checking that global reporting rules are suitable for UK use—by the time the ISSB publishes its first two standards in June.
