People of Maharashtra will give befitting reply to MVA: Shinde – United News of India

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar/Mumbai Apr 2 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Sunday said the people of Maharashtra will give a befitting reply to those who are committing the sin of sitting on the lap of Rahul Gandhi who insulted the freedom fighters including Swatantravir Savarkar.

Few hours left to Mahavikas Aghadi ‘Vajramuth Rally’ here at Marathwada Sanskrutik Mandal Ground in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar city. Shiv Sena founder late Balasaheb Thackeray had announced to name it Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. In the same Sambhajinagar, the work of holding a meeting by Mahavikas Aghadi is going on, the CM said.

Interestingly, this is the first time that all the three parties in Mahavikas Aghadi are meeting together. Therefore, everyone’s attention has been drawn to this meeting. On the other hand ruling alliance is criticizing the Uddhav Thackeray faction of Shiv Sena for breaking away from Balasaheb’s ideology.

Mr Shinde said the people of the state will answer those who insult Savarkar.

Meanwhile, Union Minister of State for Finance Dr Bhagwat Karad has also criticized the Mahavikas Aghadi meeting to be held in city. "We are not swayed by the criticism in Mahavikas Aghadi meeting and will answer it soon. It is a paradox that Sharad Pawar praises Savarkar and Congress leaders criticize Savarkar," Karad said.

He said this is not a thought of Vajramuth, but only a Vajramuth to oppose the BJP.
