Panhandle Guest Design Inc. in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., has been cited for $82,500 in penalties and five repeat and four serious violations after three inspections at area worksites, the Labor Department said Thursday.
OSHA inspectors allegedly found the employer didn’t ensure the use of required fall or eye protection or hard hats, and didn’t properly train its workers on the safe operation of industrial trucks, according to the DOL.
This is the sixth time since 2021that the framing contractor has been cited for not following federal safety standards.
